
Albert Einstein Medical Center Announces Partnership with Parkview Ob/Gyn to Deliver Babies
Philadelphia, PA, July 14, 2003—Albert Einstein Medical Center announces a new partnership with Parkview Ob/Gyn to deliver
all newborns. Einstein Medical Center expects its newborn deliveries to increase from 2,000 to nearly 3,000 a year.
Located at 1331 E. Wyoming Ave. in the Juniata section of Philadelphia, Parkview Ob/Gyn consists of three obstetricians—Mabel
Bonilla, MD; Neil Sloane, MD; and Henry Su, DO—and Physicians’ Assistant Sharon Butterworth, PA-C. Parkview Ob/Gyn’s staff
is bilingual, primarily serving the Latina community.
The partnership is the result of the closing of Parkview Hospital. Mary Laumer, Administrator of Parkview Ob/Gyn, explains,
“Although Parkview Hospital is closing, our office will remain in Juniata and continue to serve the community as we have done
for the past 15 years.”
Pregnant women who are referred to Albert Einstein Medical Center from Parkview Ob/Gyn will have access to Einstein’s obstetrical
and neonatal experts who specialize in high-risk or complicated pregnancies, as well as specialized care for infants.
