
General and Trauma Surgeon Joins Albert Einstein Medical Center
Philadelphia, PA, October 3, 2003—Toby Cohen Tally, MD, has recently joined Albert Einstein Medical Center as a general and trauma surgeon. With office locations
at Albert Einstein Medical Center (5501 Old York Road) and Einstein Center One (9880 Bustleton Avenue), Dr. Tally will perform
all types of general surgery.
Dr. Tally recently completed her general surgical residency at Lehigh Valley Hospital in Allentown. She finished a general
surgical internship in 1999 at the same hospital. She graduated from Bowman Gray School of Medicine at Wake Forest University
in Winston-Salem, North Carolina, in 1998. She has also received advanced surgical training at the Cleveland Clinic in Fort
Lauderdale, Florida, where she completed a laparoscopic bariatric surgery elective.
Dr. Tally decided to pursue a medical career relatively late in life. Prior to medical school, Dr. Tally worked in the theater.
She holds a bachelor’s degree in theater management from Hunter College of the City University of New York and worked as a
freelance theatrical stage manager for four years in the New York area.
