
Physician Joins Division of Infectious Diseases at Albert Einstein Medical Center
Philadelphia, PA, September 30, 2003—Bartholomew Bono, MD, has recently joined Albert Einstein Medical Center’s Division of Infectious Diseases as an attending
physician. His office is located at the Klein Professional Building, 5401 Old York Road, on the medical center’s main campus.
Dr. Bono most recently served on the staff at Jeanes Hospital in Philadelphia and Holy Redeemer Hospital in Meadowbrook, Pa.
He was also a clinical instructor at Temple University School of Medicine. Dr. Bono is board certified in infectious diseases
and internal medicine.
Bono, a Philadelphia resident, has a special interest in enterococcal and staphylococcal infections, infections in immuno-compromised
hosts and sexually transmitted diseases. He is currently researching these and other topics in several research studies.
Dr. Bono earned his medical degree from Temple University School of Medicine. He completed an internship and residency in
internal medicine at Mount Sinai Medical Center in New York.
