
Albert Einstein Healthcare Network Announces 2003-2004 Board Appointments
PHILADELPHIA, PA, September 15, 2003 – Albert Einstein Healthcare Network, one of Philadelphia’s largest providers of healthcare
services, has announced new board appointments for fiscal year 2004.
Jack F. Adler Jr. of Center City Philadelphia was re-elected to his second term as Chairman of Albert Einstein Healthcare
Network’s Board of Trustees, the governing body of the organization, and Board of Overseers, which serves in an advisory and
fundraising capacity. Mr. Adler is President of JAD Enterprises, Inc.
In addition, Richard J. Braemer of Center City Philadelphia was re-elected Chairman, Board of Albert Einstein Healthcare Services;
and, Richard C. Sheerr of Bryn Mawr, PA was re-elected Chairman, Board of Albert Einstein Physician Services. Mr. Braemer
is an attorney and partner of Ballard Spahr Andrews & Ingersoll. Mr. Sheerr is with The Wagman Primus Group, LP.
Elected to Einstein’s Board of Trustees were Lewis I. Gantman, Jane F. Hoffer and Matthew S. Levitties, who all serve on Einstein’s
Board of Overseers. Lewis I. Gantman of Penn Valley, PA is President of Kravco Company, a real estate development and asset
management company specializing in regional shopping malls, community shopping centers and urban retail developments. Jane
F. Hoffer of Wallingford, PA is President and CEO of Prescient Systems, Inc., a software company headquartered in West Chester,
PA providing a comprehensive software and services solution for supply chain planning in the consumer products enterprise.
Matthew S. Levitties of Villanova, PA is a Vice President of Morgan Stanley Investment Management, where he serves as a portfolio
manager.
Einstein elected four new members to its Board of Overseers: William M. Garbose; Richard H. Greenberg, MD; Lawrence S. Reichlin;
and Andrea Shiroff. William M. Garbose of Gwynedd Valley, PA is President of Harriet Carter Gifts, Inc., a mail order catalog
and direct response company. Richard H. Greenberg, MD, of Malvern, PA is President of the Medical Staff and Director of Surgical
Education at Albert Einstein Medical Center. Lawrence S. Reichlin of Villanova, PA is a partner of Zuckerman-Honickman, Inc.,
a packaging distribution company. Andrea Shiroff of Blue Bell, PA is President of the Auxiliary of Albert Einstein Medical
Center and an Administrative Assistant for Pine Forest Camp.
