Albert Einstein Medical Center Hires New Ob/Gyn

Philadelphia, PA, December 30, 2004 - Stephanie Almeida, DO, recently joined the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Albert Einstein Medical Center.

Dr. Almeida will practice at 7201 Rising Sun Avenue and Germantown Women's Health, One Penn Boulevard. While she will devote her time to general obstetrics and gynecology, she is especially interested in prenatal care, obstetrical issues and adolescent care.

Dr. Almeida completed her obstetrics and gynecology residency at Albert Einstein Medical Center, where she was the administrative chief resident. She was also a resident at St. John Detroit Riverview Hospital in Detroit, Michigan.

Dr. Almeida earned her degree at Kirksville College of Osteopathic Medicine in Kirksville, Missouri. She was a biology major at Albion College in Albion, Michigan.
