“Road to Recovery” Event to Raise Money for Patients Who Are in the Amputee Program at MossRehab
Philadelphia, Pa., June 2, 2004—The “Road to Recovery,” a fundraising event to benefit the patients who are in the Amputee Program at MossRehab, will be
held on Thursday, June 24th from 6:30 to 9:30 p.m. at Egypt Nightclub located on the corner of Spring Garden Street and Columbus
Boulevard in Philadelphia. The event will feature an open bar, dinner and dancing to the music of “Big Rick” of Eddie Bruce
Entertainment.
For many amputees, the return to maximum functionality is a long and difficult path to persevere, and the recovery process
often requires rehabilitation services that health insurance does not pay. This fundraising effort will help give amputees
the opportunity and access to the care they need. All of the funds raised will be used to offset the costs for therapy and
prostheses. Tickets are $50 per person and can be purchased in advance or at the door. For more information call MossRehab
at 215-456-7236.
