Allan M. Arbeter, MD, Named to Philadelphia Magazine’s “Top Doctors” List
Philadelphia, PA, May 27, 2004 – Philadelphia Magazine’s list of the region’s “Top Doctors” for 2004 includes Allan M. Arbeter, MD, Chairman, Department of Pediatrics
and Adolescent Medicine, Albert Einstein Medical Center.
Nearly every year, Philadelphia Magazine surveys the region’s physicians to find those they consider to be the best in their fields. Not only does the list
give doctors the recognition they deserve, it has become a useful tool for patients and healthcare providers to identify top
physicians in dozens of specialties.
“Being included on this list is very exciting,” said Dr. Arbeter. “I’m in very fine company.”
Dr. Arbeter specializes in pediatric and adolescent infectious diseases. His major contribution to children’s health and wellness
comes through his clinical trials of childhood vaccines, including chickenpox, measles and meningitis. In recent years, he
has worked with federal, state and local health programs to improve immunization programs for children.
Philadelphia Magazine’s “Top Doctors” list included Dr. Arbeter in the “Pediatric Infectious Disease” category.
