
MossRehab’s “Camp Independence” Offers Fun and Relaxation this Summer for Adults with Physical Disabilities
Philadelphia, PA, April 26, 2004—MossRehab invites adults with physical disabilities to enjoy the fun and friendships of summer camp at Camp Independence.
Now in its 34th year, Camp Independence is a week-long, overnight, camping program, for individuals 18 years of age and older.
This year’s program will be from August 8th to August 14th.
Located at the Variety Club Campgrounds in Worcester, Montgomery County, PA, campers will enjoy activities such as therapeutic
horseback riding, adaptive swimming, art and music therapy and much more. MossRehab also provides assistance to campers with
personal care needs during their stay.
The deadline for applications to the camp, which include signed physician approvals, is Friday, July 9. The cost for the camp
is $500 plus a $10 registration fee.
