Albert Einstein Medical Center’s “Small Miracles” Golf Tournament Slated for May 10
Event Benefits the STAR Program (Support Team for Asthma Relief)
Philadelphia, PA, April 15, 2004 – Albert Einstein Medical Center will hold its 16th annual “Small Miracles” Golf Tournament on Monday, May 10 at the Philadelphia
Cricket Club, 6025 West Valley Green Road, Flourtown.
The “Small Miracles” Tournament is one of the most successful charity golf tournaments in the Philadelphia area. Last year’s
event attracted more than 180 participants and raised $200,000 for the purchase of Isolettes, self-contained units with life-saving
equipment used to transport ill newborns in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit. This year’s proceeds will benefit Einstein’s
Support Team for Asthma Relief, a program that provides medical intervention and teaches children and teens how to manage
their asthma. With ten million school days a year lost to this chronic disease, every day a child spends in school – and out
of the hospital – is another small miracle.
Tickets to the tournament cost $375 per player. To participate in the “Small Miracles” Golf Tournament or for more information,
call Caren Moskowitz at 215-456-7211.
