
Richard A. Goldstein, MD, MBA, FACC, Appointed Associate Director of Einstein Institute for Heart and Vascular Health
Philadelphia, PA, February 12, 2004 – Richard A. Goldstein, MD, MBA, FACC, has been appointed Associate Director of Einstein Institute for Heart and Vascular
Health. In this position, Dr. Goldstein will help Einstein expand clinical cardiology practice in the community, giving patients
in the Northeast greater access to skilled, experienced cardiologists in their neighborhoods.
Board-certified in internal medicine, cardiovascular disease and nuclear cardiology, Dr. Goldstein obtained his medical degree
at Pennsylvania State University School of Medicine and his MBA at the University of Houston. He completed his residency in
internal medicine at Duke University Medical Center and his fellowship in cardiology at Washington University School of Medicine
in St. Louis, MO.
Dr. Goldstein has served on the editorial boards of The Journal of the American College of Cardiology, Heart Failure and Cardio,
as well as serving as a reviewer for peer-reviewed scientific journals such as The Journal of Clinical Investigation, The
Journal of Nuclear Medicine, Circulation, American Journal of Cardiology and others. Dr. Goldstein has published. multiple
articles and has lectured around the country and the world on topics related to nuclear cardiology and heart failure.
Dr. Goldstein is a Fellow of the American College of Cardiology. He is also a member of the American Society of Nuclear Cardiology,
the Society for Nuclear Medicine, and Councils on Circulation, Clinical Cardiology, and Basic Science of the American Heart
Association.
