Albert Einstein Healthcare Network Sponsors Spring Fundraising Events
Philadelphia, PA, April 6, 2005– Albert Einstein Healthcare Network is sponsoring two fundraising events this spring. The first event is the 17th Annual
“Small Miracles” Golf Tournament scheduled for Monday, May 9 at the Philadelphia Cricket Club, 6025 West Valley Green Road,
Flourtown, PA. There are a variety of sponsorship levels available and the proceeds will go towards renovating the Newborn
Nursery at Albert Einstein Medical Center.
The “Small Miracles” Tournament is one of the most successful charity golf tournaments in the Philadelphia area. Last year’s
event attracted more than 200 golfers and raised over $180,000 for the STAR Program which helps children with asthma.
Another upcoming event is the annual dinner of the Albert Einstein Society scheduled for Thursday, June 2 at the Four Seasons
Hotel. Established in 1972, the Albert Einstein Society annual campaign raises funds to support research projects and innovative
programming for patient care within the Albert Einstein Healthcare Network.
This year, the Community Award honoree is Robert Reichlin, a long-time member of Einstein’s board, and William Tester, MD,
Director of Einstein’s Cancer Center, will receive the Physician Leadership Award.
