Albert Einstein Medical Center Opens New Ob/Gyn Office in Bala Cynwyd
Philadelphia, PA, April 29, 2005– Albert Einstein Medical Center, one of the largest providers of women’s healthcare in the region, has broadened its service
area by opening Einstein Women’s Health in Bala Cynwyd.
Einstein Women’s Health provides high-quality obstetric and gynecologic care to women of all ages. In addition to excellent
care, the office is making a special effort to make office visits as convenient as possible for patients. In many cases, women
can make appointments for the same week they call.
Three experienced, board-certified practitioners staff Einstein Women’s Health:
Philip Horn, MD, is a longtime provider of ob/gyn services in Philadelphia. He is knowledgeable about a broad range of women’s
health issues, and his special interests include abnormal PAP smears, menopausal issues, osteoporosis, premenstrual syndrome
and sexually transmitted infections.
Deslyn Mancini, MD, has earned a reputation as an excellent physician who develops strong ties with her patients. Her special
interests include adolescent issues, preconception counseling, menopausal issues, sexually transmitted infections and uterine
fibroids.
Anne Rosenberg, CRNP, has been a nurse practitioner since 1995. Ms. Rosenberg works with Einstein physicians to bring her
patients the highest level of care. Her special interests include family planning, prenatal care and sexually transmitted
infections.
In addition, Einstein Medical Center offers specialized services geared to women if Einstein Women’s Health patients ever
require inpatient care. The Ann Newman Maternity Center covers every phase of the labor and delivery process, with services
that include an antenatal testing unit for mothers at high risk, genetic testing and counseling, and a NICU that provides
the highest level of care to fragile newborns. For other women’s health issues, the medical center’s Women’s Care Pavilion
is the region’s first inpatient unit for women. Its specially trained staff provides patient-centered care in a soothing,
comfortable environment.
