
LuAnn Trainer Appointed Vice President, Physicians Services for Albert Einstein Healthcare Network
Philadelphia, PA, July14, 2005– LuAnn Trainer has been appointed Vice President, Physician Services for Albert Einstein Healthcare Network. In her role,
Ms. Trainer will work closely with both clinical and administrative leaders to provide management for Einstein’s physician
companies – Einstein Community Health Associates (ECHA) and Einstein Practice Plan, Inc. (EPPI). She will serve as a member
of Einstein’s senior leadership team.
Ms. Trainer is not a newcomer to Einstein, having served as Assistant General Director for Albert Einstein Medical Center
from 1985 to 1988.
Ms. Trainer has extensive experience in physician practice management as well as hospital administration. Most recently,
she was Executive Director, Patient Care Services for Clinical Practices of the University of Pennsylvania Health System.
In this role, she was responsible for planning and implementing operational and financial strategies for Clinical Practice
Plan activities at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania, Presbyterian Medical Center, Pennsylvania Hospital, as
well as satellite offices.
Prior to that, Ms. Trainer served as Vice President for Medical Services at Presbyterian Medical Center of Philadelphia, where
she was responsible for medical, professional and technical services.
Ms. Trainer received her Bachelor’s Degree from Montclair State College in Upper Montclair, NJ, and a Master’s Degree in Health
Administration from Columbia University, New York City.
