Albert Einstein Healthcare Network Appoints Chief Administrative Officer

Philadelphia, PA, December l, 2005– John Finger has been promoted to the newly-created position of Chief Administrative Officer for Corporate Services at Albert Einstein Healthcare Network.  In this role, Mr. Finger will have overall responsibility for strategic planning, business development, real estate services, as well as operational responsibility for Information Services and Marketing and Brand Management. 

Over the past two years, Mr. Finger has been instrumental in developing and leading the Network’s strategic planning process, identifying opportunities for expansion to new markets, and supporting creation of measurement tools. He has also facilitated the process of crafting a new vision, mission, strategic working principles, and business design for the Network that will be rolled out over the coming months.

Prior to joining the Einstein team, Mr. Finger served in a number of positions at The Mount Sinai Hospital in New York City, including Assistant Hospital Director, Associate Hospital Director and Vice President for Strategic Planning Services. Before that, he worked for eight years in New York City government in various leadership roles. 

Mr. Finger received his B.A. degree in political science from Vassar College and his M.A. degree in economics and public policy from Columbia University, School of International and Public Affairs.
