Free Heart Health Lecture Offered at Albert Einstein Medical Center

Philadelphia, PA, February 1, 2006– In recognition of Heart Failure Awareness Week, Albert Einstein Medical Center is hosting a free lecture on Congestive Heart Failure (CHF) along with a free dinner, on Thursday, February 16 at 5:30 p.m.  A panel of medical experts from Einstein Institute for Heart and Vascular Health, will offer information on the symptoms of CHF, its devastating effects on quality of life, and some of the latest treatments available. 

Panelists include:

  • Darshak Karia, MD
    Director of Heart Failure Services
  • D.L. Morris, MD
    Chairman, Division of Cardiology
  • Allan Greenspan, MD
    Director of Electrophysiology
  • Angela Stewart, BSN, MSN, CRNP
    Nurse Practitioner for Heart Failure Services 

The lecture and dinner is taking place at Albert Einstein Medical Center, 5501 Old York Road, Gouley Auditorium, Braemer Education Center, Philadelphia, PA.
