
Albert Einstein Healthcare Network Physicians Stand Out at the 19th Annual Eastern Society for Pediatric Research Meeting
Philadelphia, PA, (March 9, 2007) - Albert Einstein Healthcare Network is extremely well represented at the 19th Annual Eastern Society for Pediatric Research
meeting being held March 9th through March 11th at the Crowne Plaza Hotel in Philadelphia.
Matilde Irigoyen, MD, new Chair of the Department of Pediatrics and Adolescent Medicine at Albert Einstein Medical Center, will be a keynote
speaker and one of only 21 faculty members for the meeting, which expects more than 300 pediatricians in attendance.
Twelve other Einstein physicians are presenting seven educational sessions and scholarly papers which cover adolescent gynecology,
preventative health with urban teens, improving behavioral health care for urban teens, adolescents and weight loss, newborn
weight issues, risk factors for neonatal enterocolitis, and practice-based learning and improvement in a pediatric residency.
