Strike Out Against Autism
Albert Einstein Healthcare Network will host its first annual “Strike out Against Autism” event on Saturday, December 8, 2007 to benefit a new program being established to diagnose children with autism.
More and more children are diagnosed with autism, a neuro-developmental disability that impacts their communication, socialization
and behavior. It’s well-known that children with autism who are identified and treated early have better outcomes. In response
to the need for diagnostic services, Albert Einstein Healthcare Network is opening an autism clinic in January to diagnose
the disorder.
The event will be held at NorthBowl, 909 N. 2nd Street in the Northern Liberties section of Philadelphia from 1 to 4 p.m. Admission includes bowling, lunch, and unlimited beverages. Many prizes will be awarded through a raffle and auction. “Finley,”
mascot of the Camden Riversharks, will be joining in the festivities. Ticket prices are $35 for adults, $20 for children 13-17
and $10 for children 3-12. Children under 3 are free!
Anyone interested in purchasing tickets, or sponsoring this event can call Teri Reagan at 215-456-7209 or reagant@einstein.edu.
Credit cards, cash and checks are accepted.
