The Albert Einstein Healthcare Network “Discover Healthcare Summer Program” recently honored three local public high school
students. The three teens each received scholarships from Einstein ranging from $3,500 to $7,500 for excelling during the
summer program, which invites select high school students to meet and shadow a wide variety of healthcare professionals including;
doctors, nurses, technologists, therapists, emergency medical staff, and pharmacists. The students also learned about educational
programs and requirements for many healthcare career options; as well as resume writing and interviewing skills.
The “Discover Healthcare Summer Program” honors Stephen Niklauski, son of Einstein employee Marie Niklauski, who lost his
life in 2004.
