Physicians and Staff

  • Each member of our team is compassionate and understands the emotional and psychological stress that you and your child may experience due to the attributes of autism spectrum disorder. We can give you resources to help you cope with these problems.

    The team:

Our developmental and behavioral pediatrician takes your child's developmental history, conducts a medical examination as well as an autism diagnostic observation schedule test (ADOS) and interviews you and your child to learn more about his or her strengths and weaknesses.

Our psychologist conducts cognitive tests and gathers information about your child's developmental history, including school and other services your child may be receiving. She is bilingual in English and Spanish and can help you deal with issues of anxiety and mental health.

Our speech and language pathologist makes evaluations and recommendations on how to treat disorders that affect your child's speech and language, including hearing, reading, writing and communication skills.

Our certified nurse practitioner takes a thorough medical history of your family and child with autism. She writes prescriptions for medications and therapies and helps you connect with services in the community. She can also help with medical assistance applications, if necessary.
