Initial ConsultationSchedule an in-depth one-on-one consultation with an Einstein Bariatrics surgeon, to discuss details about the surgery, its benefits and potential complications. The initial consultation enables us to design a plan of action to match your individual needs. Our offices are conveniently located in Elkins Park and East Norriton, Pennsylvania.

Lifestyle ManagementA complete lifestyle management program helps prepare you for surgery, and for your new life afterwards. You'll meet with a registered dietitian and psychologist.
Insurance approval: Many insurance policies cover bariatric surgery, as long as you meet specified criteria. Einstein Bariatrics insurance liaisons assist you with the approval process required by an insurance carrier.

Final consultation: Two weeks before surgery you will have a consultation to review the consent form, preoperative diet and any additional preoperative testing.
