Revisional Bariatric Surgery

  • Certain surgeries performed years ago, including jejunoileal bypass and the gastroplasty (or stomach stapling) had only short-term success followed by a high frequency of long-term failure or severe complications.

Einstein Bariatrics offers minimally invasive surgical revisions for patients who have had prior failed bariatric surgery, or who have developed unacceptable side affects.

If this describes your situation, we offer a patient re-education and training program designed to help you get back on track with a new weight loss surgery plan.

We are happy to answer any questions you may have about our revisional program.

During your initial consultation, you will be asked to bring your old operative report (if available) and a recent X-ray, which our office can coordinate.
