Sometimes it's helpful to meet with others who have undergone weight loss surgery -- to share experiences and to realize you are not alone in your circumstance.
Patients who have had bariatric surgery at Einstein at Elkins Park are welcome to attend support group meetings.
Bariatrics Surgery Support Group
This support group is led by our psychologist and may include other members of the lifestyle management program, all of whom are happy to answer your questions and address your concerns.
Pre-registration is strongly recommended; walk-ins are welcome.

Bariatrics Nutrition Support Class
Led by our dietitian Colleen Rauchut, RD, LDN, this class explores nutrition questions most frequently asked by our patients. Rotating topics address a variety of issues such as dining out after surgery, supplements and daily diet planners.
