    Easy physician referrals and follow ups. Medical consultations, referrals and questions are all handled with one phone call.

    A second opinion when you need one. Our physicians will confirm whether you do have cancer and what your next steps should be.

    Prompt, courteous service: We value your time. New patient evaluations are scheduled in days, not weeks, and physicians are available to answer your questions.

    Patient Navigators. We offer patient navigators to provide assistance and guidance to our breast and colon cancer patients as they face the many decisions and challenges surrounding their diagnosis.

    Support and guidance. Our team of coordinated cancer specialists will work with you to create a customized treatment plan based on your individual needs, while helping you through the physical, psychological and emotional effects of living with cancer.

    Annual follow up. We check on our patients annually, in accordance with American College of Surgeons’ guidelines.

    Community involvement. Einstein provides cancer support groups and wellness events, as well as participates in Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure.

    Genetic counseling. Our Hereditary Cancer Risk Assessment Program provides genetic screenings and testing for cancer patients and family members.

    Free interpreters: Our language interpreters provide spoken language and sign language services free of charge.

    Top techniques. As a patient you have access to technologies with the highest possible precision for fighting cancer, including intensity-modulated radiation therapy (IMRT)image-guided radiation therapy IGRTstereotactic body radiation therapy (SBRT)RapidArc and one of only 15 approved Digital Breast Tomosynthesis (DBT) testing centers in the U.S., Canada and Europe.

    Our cancer care is integrated with other medical specialties throughout Einstein Healthcare Network, including:

    • Einstein Pain Institute, dedicated to reducing pain, improving your quality of life, ability and activity level
    • Palliative care that improves the quality of life for patients with cancer-related pain and other symptoms
    • Physical, occupational and speech therapy at MossRehab, the area’s only cancer rehabilitation program

    We have been an accredited cancer program by The American College of Surgeons Commission on Cancer for over 80 years. We were also selected as one of 21 community hospitals to join the National Cancer Institute Community Cancer Centers Program to offer patients expanded research opportunities and the latest cancer care, as well as a participant in American Society of Clinical Oncology Quality Oncology Practice Initiative (QOPI), an oncologist-led, practice-based quality improvement program.

    Einstein Medical Center Philadelphia is accredited by the American College of Radiology (ACR) and the American Society for Radiation Oncology (ASTRO) for meeting strict patient care and safety standards.
