    Advanced technologies for diagnosis

    Your diagnosis is determined using digital technology, including:

    • Computed tomography (CT or CAT scans)
    • Magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) that uses high-field tesla magnets to obtain the most precise images
    • Minimally invasive surgical procedures

    Advanced options for treatment

    Cancer is a complex disease that often requires multiple types of treatment. Your care plan at Einstein may include:

    Radiation therapy

    Chemotherapy and hormonal therapy (also known as medical oncology)

    • Chemotherapy, which uses powerful drugs to attack cancer cells, is available at Einstein on both an inpatient and outpatient basis.
    • Hormone therapy uses medicines to prevent cancer cells from multiplying.

    Radiofrequency ablation (RFA)

    • Minimally invasive cancer treatment using heat to destroy cancer cells.

    Surgery

    • An operation to remove all or part of a tumor to diagnose or treat your cancer.
    • We use the latest video-assisted techniques to identify the full extent of your cancer and offer both traditional and minimally invasive surgical techniques.
