In collaboration with Northwest Victim Services, Einstein's Department of Emergency Medicine has been awarded grant funds by the Pennsylvania Commission on Crime and Delinquency (PCCD) to implement the Crime Victim's Compensation and Advocacy Pilot Project. The aim of the program is to assist Albert Einstein Healthcare Network patients with out of pocket expenses incurred due to a crime. Expenses include, but are not limited to, medical bills, durable medical equipment and lost wages.
