Harriet Bernstein is the Director of Volunteer and Chaplaincy Services, Language and Cultural Services at Albert Einstein Healthcare Network. Under her leadership a number of important programs have been developed within the network that address cultural diversity. These include: Multi-Faith Chaplaincy Program, Interpreter Training Program, Provider Training Program in Cross Cultural Medical Care, Resident Curriculum in Communication and Cultural Competence, and Youth Mentoring Program for At Risk Youth. Harriet will be working with the Center on community initiatives involving education of minority populations as well as contributing her expertise in diversity and spirituality.
