Look Good, Feel Better
(for women only)
Look Good, Feel Better is a free makeover program for women with cancer. Co-sponsored by the American Cancer Society and the American Cosmetology
Association, the program teaches women makeup, hair and wig-styling techniques to help them overcome some of the physical
changes they experience due to side effects of cancer treatment. For example, a licensed cosmetologist teaches participants
makeup tips for filling in eyebrows and eyelashes that may have been affected by chemotherapy. The program is offered quarterly
at Einstein Center One, 9880 Bustleton Avenue, Northeast Philadelphia and at the Marion-Louise Saltzman Women’s Center. The
Women’s Center is located on the campus of Albert Einstein Medical Center, 5501 Old York Road, Philadelphia.
Meetings are located at:
Einstein Center One and at the Marion-Louise Saltzman Women’s Center.
