Nina Ghobadi DDS, FAGD
Program Director, General Practice Residency
Nina Ghobadi DDS, FAGD received her dental degree from the University of Michigan, School of Dental Medicine. She then completed
a General Practice Residency program at Albert Einstein Medical Center. She also completed a second year of training as a
chief resident and was the recipient of the Louis B. Schatz Award as outstanding hospital resident. She continued her training
by completing a year of fellowship in hospital dentistry at Albert Einstein Medical Center, Department of Dental Medicine.
Dr. Ghobadi served as the General Practice Residency Assistant Program Director from 1995-1999 and has continued her involvement
as a teaching faculty member in the General Practice Residency Program since then. Her clinical interests include: hospital
dentistry, comprehensive restorative dentistry, implant dentistry and cosmetic dentistry. She is a fellow of the Academy of
General Dentistry.
Endodontic Residency
Frederic Barnett, DMD
Program Director and Chairman of the I.B. Bender Division of Endodontics, Department of Dental Medicine.
Dr. Frederic Barnett received both his DMD and Certificate in Endodontics from the University of Pennsylvania, where he served
as Director of Postdoctoral Endodontics. Dr. Barnett is a Diplomate of the American Association of Endodontists and serves
on several committee's for the AAE. He has authored numerous clinical and scientific papers, serves on the Advisory Board
of International Association of Dental Traumatology and is an Associate Editor of the Journal of Endodontics.

Orthodontic Residency
Alan J. Borislow, DDS

Director
Alan J. Borislow, DDS, is an Adjunct Associate Professor in Orthodontics at the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental
Medicine and Clinical Associate Professor in Orthodontics at Temple University School of Dentistry. He graduated from Temple
University School of Dentistry and completed his orthodontic residency at Albert Einstein Medical Center where he was a recipient
of the Lewis B. Schatz Award as outstanding hospital resident. Dr. Borislow is a diplomate of the American Board of Orthodontics
and a past-president of the Greater Philadelphia Society of Orthodontists. He is a recipient of recent awards from the Temple
University Dental Alumni Association as a distinguished alumnus and from the Greater Philadelphia Health Care Congress. Dr.
Borislow is a fellow of the American College of Dentists, the International College of Dentists, and the American Association
of Hospital Dentists.
