    Anorectal Physiology Laboratory offers a number of comprehensive diagnostic tests that provide important information about the function and anatomy of the anus and rectum. Some of the tests performed at the Anorectal Physiology Laboratory include:

    Advanced imaging equipment in the Anorectal Physiology Laboratory is used to examine the anal canal for:

    • Anal sphincter tears
    • Chronic anal infections
    • Rectal/anal tumors
    • Staging of rectal/anal cancers
    • Follow-up for cancer recurrence
    • Evaluation of loss of bowel control, and other disorders

    Anorectal Physiology Laboratory provides convenient and comfortable in-house treatment, including leading colon and rectal procedures, such as minimally-invasive laparoscopic surgery, as well as traditional surgeries.
