The pathology department evaluates tissue, blood and body fluids to help diagnose and treat disease. We are a large department made up of 160 employees who process over three million tests a year. It's estimated that these lab results affect up to 70 percent of patient care decisions.
We have an extensive quality assurance program in anatomic and clinical pathology focused on processes to optimize efficiency and patient safety.
