Alberto Esquenazi, MD
Alberto Esquenazi, MD, is chair of the Department of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at MossRehab and was instrumental in the development of ReWalk ™, the first commercially viable upright device that enables wheelchair users to stand, walk, and climb stairs.
Dr. Esquenazi specializes in amputee rehabilitation, mobility evaluation and treatment, and gait analysis.
He has been recognized as a Top Doc by Philadelphia magazine by Castle Connolly, a national peer-survey organization. In addition, Dr. Esquenazi's treatment of paraplegics using of MossRehab's innovative ReWalk robotic therapy machine was number eight in the 2012 Top Docs issue's list of "28 Amazing New Ways Philly Doctors Can Save Your Life."
