  • Daniel J Canter, M.D.

    Dr. Daniel Canter is vice chairman of the Urologic Institute of Southeastern Pennsylvania and the Department of Urology of the Einstein Healthcare Network. He is also an associate member of the Fox Chase Cancer Center.

    The majority of Dr. Canter's practice focuses on the care of patients with both non-muscle invasive and invasive bladder cancer and other genitourinary malignancies.  Dr. Canter is an active participant in clinical trials through the cooperative groups and the SUO clinical trials consortium.  He has authored or co-authored over 80 peer-reviewed publications and numerous book chapters related to urologic oncology.

    Dr. Canter graduated as the valedictorian from George Washington University School of Medicine in 2004 and completed his residency at the University of Pennsylvania in 2009. He then completed a Society of Urologic Oncology (SUO) fellowship in urologic oncology at the Fox Chase Cancer Center in Philadelphia in 2011.

    Dr. Canter has also been an assistant professor of urology at the Emory University School of Medicine in Atlanta in the urologic oncology center.
