H. Hank Simms, MD

H. Hank Simms, MD, is Chairman of the Department of Surgery and Residency Program Director.  Dr. Simms is board certified in general surgery and surgical critical care and is Professor of Surgery at Jefferson Medical College.

Dr. Simms came to Einstein Medical Center from North Shore-Long Island Jewish Medical Center where he served as Chairman and Surgeon-in-Chief of the Department of Surgery.  Dr. Simms also held the position of John D. Mountain Professor of Surgery, New York University School of Medicine and Professor of Surgery at Albert Einstein College of Medicine. 

Dr. Simms is a fellow of the American College of Surgeons.
