Lawrence J Solin, MD
Dr. Solin, Chairman of Radiation Oncology, has devoted his professional career to treating women with breast cancer and has more than 25 years of clinical experience. He is an expert in the use of radiation therapy after breast conservation treatment for women with early stage breast cancer.
Dr. Solin is the lead researcher for the Oncotype DX® test to predict the risk of recurrence of breast cancer in patients with DCIS (ductal carcinoma in-situ), the most common type of early or pre-invasive breast cancer, also called "Stage 0". He has also lectured extensively both nationally and internationally. He has been recognized as a "Top Doc" by Philadelphia magazine by Castle Connolly, a national peer-survey organization.
