Jason Brajer, MD
Anesthesiology and Pain Management Residency Program
1980 to 1981
Jason interned at Einstein from 1980 to 1981. He currently maintains a private practice at Montgomery Hospital and holds the
title of Chairman, Department of Anesthesiology. He and his wife share three children: Dana, 25 who is an attorney, Adam 23
who is a second year law student at Temple and Amanda 21 who is a senior at Penn State.
Vikas Shah, MD
Anesthesia Residency Program
1977-1980
Vikas is grateful to Einstein for providing the training and experience that has allowed him to enjoy a rewarding and successful
career as an anesthesiologist. He is Board certified in anesthesia and pain management and has been practicing in this field
for over twenty-five years, most recently at Henry Ford Hospital where his wife is a practicing pathologist. He and his wife
share three lovely children.
Dollie Silpasuvan Boonn '04
William Boonn '03
Dollie Silpasuvan (Prelim 2004) married William Boonn (TY 2003) in Baltimore, Maryland on November 5, 2005. The couple met
when Dollie was interviewing for her internship at Einstein. Bill, taking a break from his Telemetry duties, wanted to grab
a bite to eat and not only got food, he got a wife! Many members of the Einstein family were present at their big day and
they both stay in contact with many people with whom they worked. Dollie is currently in her final year of Anesthesiology
Residency at the Mt. Sinai Medical Center in New York City while Bill is the Chief Radiology Resident at the Hospital of the
University of Pennsylvania.
Rodolfo Castro Rico, MD
Anesthesia Fellowship Program
1965-1966
Dr. Rico attended Einstein’s Anesthesia Fellowship Program from 1965 to 1966. He is retired and living in Williamsville, New
York. Rodolfo and wife Carol share four children, Rudolph, Phil, Leah and Theresa.
Perla Gomeri Gascon, MD
Anesthesia Residency Program
1968-1971
Perla attended Einstein’s Anesthesia Residency Program from 1968 to 1971. She serviced as Director of OB-Anesthesia from 1979
to 1987 and has been practicing in California since 1987. Dr. Gascon has been married for 39 years to Arturo Gascon and together
they share three children: Genevieve, who had a son, Joel, Michael, who has a daughter, Angelina Joy, and Christina, who has
a daughter Sasha.
