
Albert Einstein Medical Center is committed to education and life-long learning. Our
Department of Library Services consists of the Alexander and Herbert Luria Memorial Library and the Hassel Media Center. The library and its resources serve
the patient care, education, and research needs of Albert Einstein Healthcare Network's staff and students.
The Luria Medical Library has more than 250 current journal subscriptions and provides access to over 160 full text electronic
journals. The Hassel Media Center and computer terminals in the library reading area offer access to Microsoft Office , the
Internet, statistical software, and databases including Micromedex and the Ovid interface to MEDLINE, CINAHL, SportDiscus,
and several Evidence-Based Medicine resources.
In addition, computer terminals have been placed at key locations throughout the facility to assist physicians in practicing
the art of evidence-based medicine.

is Thomas Jefferson University’s Internet-based electronic library.
Einstein@JEFFLINE, tailored specifically for Einstein physicians and staff, offers a variety of electronic research resources, including links
to healthcare databases such as Micromedex, OVID MEDLINE, CINAHL, SportDiscus, Cochrane Databases, and DARE. Through
Journals@OVID, physicians have access to more than 60 full text electronic medical journals.
Albert Einstein Healthcare Network has site licenses for

. Both resources are designed to help physicians quickly answer clinical questions.
