Observership Requirements
- Must be fluent in the English language.
- Must complete an Observership Application. A request for an observership does not guarantee a slot will be available.
- Must present original proof of U.S. citizenship (e.g. government issued ID, drivers license, passport, etc) or, if non-U.S. Citizen, present a valid visa or proof of immigration status to Office of Academic Affairs during the check-in process prior to start of observership.
- Must provide current curriculum vitae indicating prior training, research, publications and ECFMG status if applicable or available.
- Must provide copy of current transcript from medical or clinical training school.
- Must complete all criminal and health clearance requirements:
- Initial TB screening
- Influenza vaccinations (flu shot)
- Proof of health insurance (e.g. copy of declaration page or health insurance card or letter from school’s student affairs dean)
- Complete Observership Orientation Program
- Must provide USMLE scores (if applicable)
