  • Dr. Behnam Bozorgnia is currently the co-director of advanced heart failure at Einstein Medical Center. Dr. Bozorgnia has finished his medical school at Temple University Hospital in 2002. He completed his Internal Medicine training at Drexel University. He then returned to Temple University Hospital to finish his cardiology fellowship. He has been a faculty at Einstein Medical center since 2008. He is American Board certified in Internal Medicine and Cardiovascular Medicine. He is also board certified in adult Echocardiography, and cardiac nuclear imaging. Dr. Bozorgnia has a special interest in advanced heart failure, mechanical circulatory support, and cardiac imaging.

  • Suzanne Brown, MD

  • Suzanne Brown M.D. is the co-director of the Heart Failure Section of the Division of Cardiology. She is Board Certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine, the Subspecialty Board of Cardiovascular Diseases and the National Board of Echocardiography. She received her M.D. from Harvard Medical School, and completed her internal medicine training at the Brigham and Women’s Hospital in Boston, Massachusetts. She then moved to Philadelphia to pursue fellowship training in Cardiology at the University of Pennsylvania. While there she was the recipient of multiple awards for excellence in teaching and clinical work. She also completed a Masters in Translational Research with a focus on myocardial metabolism in heart failure, before moving to Einstein Medical Center as an attending.

  • Dr. Nazanin Moghbeli received her medical degree at the Johns Hopkins School of Medicine, and a Masters of Public Health at the Johns Hopkins School of Public Health. She completed a residency in Internal Medicine at the Brigham and Women’s Hospital and cardiovascular fellowship training at the University of Pennsylvania. She is board certified in internal medicine, cardiovascular medicine, echocardiography, and nuclear cardiology. Her research, which focus on cardiovascular disorders of pregnancy and gender-specific presentation of heart disease, have been published in peer reviewed journals.Dr. Moghbeli is founder and director of the annual “Heart Disease and Pregnancy” symposium which brings together researchers and clinicians from across North America to identify innovative ways to improve the care of pregnant women with cardiovascular disease.
