Dr. Nazanin Moghbeli received her medical degree at the Johns Hopkins School of Medicine, and a Masters of Public Health at the Johns Hopkins School of Public Health. She completed a residency in Internal Medicine at the Brigham and Women’s Hospital and cardiovascular fellowship training at the University of Pennsylvania. She is board certified in internal medicine, cardiovascular medicine, echocardiography, and nuclear cardiology. Her research, which focus on cardiovascular disorders of pregnancy and gender-specific presentation of heart disease, have been published in peer reviewed journals.Dr. Moghbeli is founder and director of the annual “Heart Disease and Pregnancy” symposium which brings together researchers and clinicians from across North America to identify innovative ways to improve the care of pregnant women with cardiovascular disease.
