The Division of Gastroenterology and Nutrition currently has six full time faculty members. The Hepatology division has two full time transplant hepatologists and full time transplant surgery. Fellows will gain extensive experience in all aspects of gastroenterology including GI consultation, ambulatory gastroenterology and hepatology and all aspects of GI endoscopy.

A state-of-the-art esophageal laboratory offers the opportunity for advanced training during the fellowship and for participation in research. A fully equipped, state-of-the-art endoscopy suite and training facility with colonoscopy and ERCP simulation equipment are available.

The Hepatology Division and the Center for Liver Disease operates a UNOS approved liver transplant program. Flexible scheduling opportunities allow those interested to devote time to special interests.
