Transplant Surgery (kidney) - Program Info

Welcome to Einstein Medical Center’s Kidney Transplant Fellowship Program web site.  Administratively, the Division of Transplantation operates under the umbrella of the Department of Surgery.

The Kidney Transplant Program began in 1964.  The Kidney Transplant Fellowship was approved in 1990 by the American Society of Transplant Surgeons (ASTS).  Fellowship training is constantly a key component of this transplant program.  We have built what we believe to be a premier training program, adhering to ASTS guidelines.
