On behalf of the Department of Orthopedic Surgery we are proud to announce that the Orthopedic Surgery residents ranked nationally in the 94th percentile on their 2009 Orthopedic In-Training Examination. The program ranked nationally in the 96th percentile in 2007 and 95th percentile in 2008. The residents have ranked nationally over 90%, 6 of the last 9 years. These have been the highest scores achieved by the residents in the history of the Orthopedic Program at Einstein.
We feel the AEMC Orthopedic Residency Program In-Training Examination results reflect the support, dedication and continuing commitment to educational excellence of the Orthopedic teaching program staff, resident staff and AEMC administration. Kudos to Program Director, Eric A. Williams, MD and Associate Program Director, Gene W. Shaffer, MD for their guidance and hard-work.
