What are the application requirements?
Einstein Medical Center's Pediatrics Residency Program participates in the Electronic Residency Application Service (ERAS). Complete applications require a dean's letter and transcript, National Board of Medical Examiners (NBME) transcript, USMLE or COMLEX scores and three letters of recommendation. The application deadline is November 30th. We will only accept applications through ERAS and have openings for 12 categorical pediatric residents per year.For Osteopathic Students, we do participate in the National Matching Service. We welcome your applications and participate in the traditional rotating internship. You may apply through the NMS and indicate your interest in Pediatrics or you may apply through ERAS. Please discuss your options with your Medical School to see which option best fits your needs.Selected applicants are invited to visit Einstein Medical Center for a personal interview. Early submission of ERAS applications is strongly encouraged. We offer interview dates in November, December and January. Albert Einstein Medical Center sponsors H1B and J1 visas for residents entering graduate medical training programs at its sole discretion. Candidates that desire H1B visa sponsorship should express that desire at the time of program interview. Only graduate medical training program candidates with USMLE or COMLEX Step 3 results posted to the Electronic Residency Application Service (ERAS) prior to February 1 will be eligible for consideration of H1B visa sponsorship. Einstein will indicate to candidates in writing Einstein’s desire to sponsor an H1B visa.We do not offer observerships or externships due to the large amount of medical school students and residents that we train.
