Transitional Year - Program Info

Einstein Medical Center's transitional year residency program emphasizes teaching, camaraderie, teamwork and learning. The program offers an outstanding balance between academics and clinical experience; it is widely recognized for its ability to offer not only comprehensive core clinical training but also for its ability to offer many months of elective time in which residents may tailor the year to meet their individual needs.

Our highly competitive program trains 20 Transitional Year residents each year. Of the 20 positions listed in the NRMP, six have the possibility of being filled through our combined transitional/radiology program for residents who wish to complete both transitional year and radiology residencies at Einstein Medical Center.
