    Hahnemann University Hospital provides experience in the growing field of robot-assisted surgery. The technique is used to improve surgical accuracy in minimally invasive surgery and complicated urologic conditions.  This level of experience for PGY 3-5 level residents provides them with greater accuracy and causes less blood loss than conventional methods during complex surgical cases.

    Jeanes Hospital provides residents with experience in general open & endoscopic procedures as well as advanced laparoscopic procedures.  Residents gain experience in essential techniques and skills to perform complex operations and laparoscopic reconstructions.

    St. Christopher’s Hospital for Children provides clinical experience in common and uncommon surgical conditions in children. The one month surgical rotation also provides PGY2 residents with exposure, experience and education in both burn management and pediatric surgery. Residents are taught some of the controversies within the field of Pediatric Surgery.

    The Children’s Hospital Of Philadelphia provides clinical training experience in Pediatric Urology for PGY 3 urology residents.  The three month rotation provides excellent experience in all aspects of open surgery in the child with a urological problem.  Competencies in the domains of Open Surgery, Endoscopic Surgery, Outpatient Pediatric Urology, Spinal Defects, Stone Disease in children, Urologic Trauma and Reconstructive Urology are taught.

    Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center provides residents with education and experience in Urologic Oncology. The two month rotation provides PGY4 residents with significant exposure to patients with prostate, bladder and renal cancer and gives a broad view of all aspects of Genitourinary Cancer.
