When you arrive at the hospital, you will need to check in. You will sign a surgery consent form if you haven’t already.
Things You Should Bring With You
Insurance cards or forms
Your child’s medical test results
A list of any medications your child takes regularly
A bag or case for any personal items your child may need to remove
A favorite toy or blanket for your child
A bottle and formula for after surgery (if your child is an infant)
Something to read while you wait
