Tonsil, Adenoid, and Ear Tube Surgery: The Day of Surgery

When you arrive at the hospital, you will need to check in. You will sign a surgery consent form if you haven’t already.

Things You Should Bring With You

• Insurance cards or forms

• Your child’s medical test results

• A list of any medications your child takes regularly

• A bag or case for any personal items your child may need to remove

• A favorite toy or blanket for your child

• A bottle and formula for after surgery (if your child is an infant)

• Something to read while you wait
