Leading medical experts from Einstein Healthcare Network will present on a variety of health topics sure to appeal to gardeners during the PHS Speaker Series at the Philadelphia Flower Show.
Richard E. Grant, MD will give a talk entitled “Gardening Without Aches and Pains.”
Dr. Grant will address concerns of people with hip and knee arthritis so they are able to continue to enjoy gardening. He will discuss challenges and solutions for the gardener with arthritis as well as safe ergonomic practices and appropriate tools. Safe approaches and the unique needs of gardening for people who have undergone total knee or total hip replacements, will also be covered.
