Multiple listing involves registering at two or more transplant centers. You can initiate this process. Candidates closest to the donor hospital are usually considered ahead of those who are more distant, multiple listing may increase your chances of receiving a local organ.
Be your best advocate. If you are currently registered for transplant with another hospital, you may also register at Einstein. Talk to your healthcare team and ensure this important step is taken if transplantation is recommended by your doctor.
