The curriculum of the Medicine-Pediatrics Program merges the standard three-year study of each specialty into a challenging
four years. A mix of innovative and traditional rotations ensures an outstanding balance between inpatient, critical care
and ambulatory experience.
The curriculum encompasses 24 months in each specialty, with each year of training including rotations in both Medicine and
Pediatrics. The residency is divided into four-month blocks to ensure optimal exposure to seasonal variations in both adult
and pediatric illnesses.
Beginning in the first year, residents assume continuity of care responsibility for a cadre of patients in the combined Medicine-Pediatrics
outpatient clinic, and they maintain contact with their outpatients and colleagues throughout their residency.
