Albert Einstein Medical Center Residency Program in Internal Medicine-Pediatrics was established in 1982 to meet the growing
need for primary care physicians and to provide excellent training in both specialites. The Medicine-Pediatrics program combines
the strengths of both department and offers residents a broad range of educational opportunites.
The presence of a program director trained in Medicine-Pediatrics guarantees personal attention and guidance to residents
in the program, while the support of more than 80 full-time faculty ensures an outstanding educational experience.
The four-year residency program leads to board certification in Internal Medicine and Pediatrics. Graduates of the program
have pursued career paths ranging from primary care practice to subspecialty faculty positions.
